The Luma Collection Brings a Smarter Approach to High-Traffic Restrooms

The best commercial design solutions tend to solve multiple problems at once. That is exactly what makes The Splash Lab’s Luma Collection stand out. Designed for high-traffic restrooms, the collection brings sink, soap, water, and drying into one streamlined system that helps keep spaces cleaner, more efficient, and easier to maintain.

At the center of the collection is Lumashelf, an integrated sink system created to support fast-moving environments without sacrificing visual clarity. The concept is simple but thoughtful: keep every essential touchpoint in one place so users can move through the handwashing experience intuitively, while facilities teams deal with less mess and fewer maintenance issues. The Splash Lab also notes that the system includes details like multi-feed soap systems to help support steady use in busy settings.

That practical thinking is paired with a cleaner architectural expression. Rather than treating the restroom as purely functional, the Luma Collection introduces a more considered design language to the space. The line includes one-, two-, and three-user integrated sinks, along with complementary pieces such as the Lumabin recessed paper towel dispenser and waste bin, plus several Lumamirror backlit LED mirror styles. Together, the pieces create a cohesive system that feels intentional from start to finish.

Luma is also built with specification in mind. The Splash Lab says the collection is made in the USA, with sinks that are CNC-machined and hand-finished domestically. The sink and shelf use Corian, which the brand describes as low-VOC, durable, and repairable, helping extend product life and reduce waste over time. Its integrated approach also cuts down on the need for separate fixtures and replacement parts, while shipping as a complete unit on a single pallet helps reduce packaging waste and the impact of multiple shipments.

Installation has been considered just as carefully. According to the product page, Luma uses a wall-mounted frame system with color-coded electrical connections and quick connects, simplifying installation and eliminating the need to work from underneath the sink. In commercial environments where time, labor, and long-term durability matter, those details carry real weight.

One of the strongest examples of the collection in action is its first installation at Miami International Airport, one of the busiest travel hubs in the United States. It is a fitting application for a system designed around movement, performance, and user flow.

What makes the Luma Collection compelling is not just that it looks refined. It is that the design has been engineered around how people actually use public restrooms and how facility teams actually maintain them. In a category that is often overlooked, Luma offers a more integrated answer — one that feels efficient, durable, and quietly elevated.
