PR + Brand Strategy + Events

THE CHALLENGE:

Establish a media presence for this boutique Rhode Island-based studio with a bespoke product line while staying true to the brand and attracting potential new clients. We started from scratch and slowly, over the course of four years, worked to increase brand awareness and sales.

WHAT WE DID:

Proactive press outreach around new products, initiatives, collaborations and installations; support at multiple tradeshows (i.e. the International Contemporary Furniture fair, Architectural Digest Design Show) via press outreach and on-site assistance; updated and shifted away from traditional print press materials in favor of a digital look book.

WHAT WE ACHIEVED:

TGS has been featured in numerous national and regional publications and blogs including: Elle Décor, Luxe Interiors & Design, The Associated Press, House Beautiful, Home Accents Today, Traditional Home, C Magazine. Throughout our partnership, the studio has seen a marked increase in inquiries, web traffic, and at times, direct sales in correlation with press coverage secured by Good Word.

Ongoing Social Media

THE CHALLENGE:

To build out organic and strategy-driven platforms, grow following and engagement steadily, and establish the brand messaging and aesthetic.

WHAT WE DID:

We established social media platforms that showcased the visual side of the brand and also exposed a general audience (including potential clients) to the behind-the-scenes processes of designing the pieces; connected with industry professionals, existing clients, and potential clients in real time; showcased product and installations to grow all platforms at a steady pace.

WHAT WE ACHIEVED:

TGS’s increased digital presence has resulted in over 35% referral rate growth from the social platforms to the TGS website in two years. This growth has also increased project inquires, collaboration requests, and direct sales.

On average, all platforms grew quality followers by 22% per month increasing website traffic, sales inquiries and overall branding reach.

Social Media Collaboration/Partnerships

CHALLENGE:

Create a collaboration with a fellow industry partner that would attract niche clientele and increase overall exposure and brand awareness.

WHAT WE DID:

Conducted layers of research to find the optimal collaboration partner.  We landed on Color Cord; a customizable lighting company based in New York City.  Why partner with another lighting brand?  We liked the potential audience cross over and the ability to customize a TGS Glass Piece with Color Cord's more whimsical cord options.  We wanted to reach a younger, fresher audience while demonstrating Tracy's ability to customize her lighting pieces.

WHAT WE ACHIEVED:

We were able to crossover hundreds of followers within a week of the collaboration, bring awareness to the brand, and more importantly, demonstrate Tracy's ability to create pieces for multiple spaces and types of clientele. The collaboration's investment paid for itself with the marketing spend we saved that month.
